In photographing different locations above and below the water, the Waimea Falls provided some great opportunities to see beautiful orchids. Back in Fort Worth Texas my home town of growing up. I started a series of paintings using acrylic in 1981 to 1986. Most were painted on Arches Watercolor paper and this was the smoothest paper I have ever painted on. This provided great details of the flower and the ocean beach off Waimea Hawaii.
